I'm teaching a class about container gardening in April.

Garden Harvest 2008

Better late than never, right???

The garden did really well last year! Of course, I'm slightly biased, since the garden's purpose is to feed my family... Plus, this was my first (real) garden in Ohio.

We had an amazing tomato harvest, but our favorite crop was all of our pumpkins! We only actually planted half of the harvest. The other half of our harvest came from our prior attempt at a garden - and our failed pumpkins from the previous year.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to blog about my garden a bit more in 2009. We'll see.

Let me start by saying we have tomatoes, tomatoes, pumpkins, tomatoes, and more pumpkins:

August Garden Update

It's been a busy summer, and I'm just finally getting around to updating....

Peaches and the Peach Monster

So we managed to get about 3 lbs of peaches from our trees this year. Funny things with one year olds... they like to eat... Enough said. See pic below for proof:
